The Harriers flew home with the team prize at the Rye Summer Classic Series 10K, with thanks to Simon Jones in third position (35:11), Joe Thomsett in seventh (38:29) and Barry Hopkins in ninth (40:28). Alex Davis also produced a PB of 1:13:51.
At the Road Athletics Aylesham & East Kent 10K, despite the wet and windy conditions, Thomas Purnell came in second position (also achieving a PB) with a time of 36:49. The Harriers also had three further members in the top ten: Neil Armitage (44:25), Nathan Bradley (45:54) and Fiona Tester (46:50). Fiona also picked up the 1st Lady, closely followed by Bethany Burnett who was the 3rd Lady in 49:00.
The tough weather conditions also didn’t stop Philip Wyard (33:15) and John Cooper (37:08) at the Mid Kent 5 Miler.
