Event Overview:
This 3 day event commences in East Grinstead on Saturday 3rd May 2025 with a 10 mile race, followed by the Haywards Heath 10 mile race on Sunday 4th May 2025 - and finishing in Burgess Hill on Monday 5th May 2025 with a 10K race. Combined, these race make up the Mid Sussex Marathon.
All races start at 10:30.

Participants can once again challenge themselves to complete an individual town race, or complete the full marathon distance over three days. All marathon finishers will receive a Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend t-shirt, a bespoke medal, and sweet treats at the finish line. Plus prizes and awards.

For younger participants and new runners, we have the Mid Sussex Fun Run which is family friendly and ideal for all ages (9.30am), fancy dress is welcome and everyone wins a medal. The Mid Sussex Mile race (10am), is a chip timed event for children aged 7+, prizes and medals will be awarded.

Course Details:
For East Grinstead 10 Mile... The race is primarily off road using the footpaths and trails around Weir Wood Reservoir, with a short section on tarmac roads. Although there are swing gates and stiles on the course, all gates should be opened to ensure a clear passage. The route has been designed to avoid most stiles but you should be aware that you will have to deal with at least one or two. The course is undulating and has a couple of challenging uphill sections.
For Haywards Heath 10 Mile... The route is run over two laps using a mixture of off road sections on footpaths and trails in and around the town, including Victoria Park itself and where the finish is located. There are also large sections of the course on tarmac. The course is undulating.
For Burgess Hill 10k... The course is undulating with several uphill sections.
Because their multi terrain composition, these courses can not be accurately measured. However, we believe that it is as close as we can get to the distance using GPS technology.

Prizes:
Bespoke medal for all finishers.
Prizes/trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female winners. (Main race on each day)
