Event Details

This race will be run over an extension of a traditional parkrun course, extending the summer route to the tip of Hawbush Creek and extending the start back to Fenn Creek around a well established walking and running route. Much of the route has been used extensively over the last four years by an average of 100 park runners without incident, the two extensions are regularly used by members of South Woodham Running Club without issue. However, the entire course has been subject to examination and assessment to ensure the event is safe and fun as well. The course consists of trail paths mainly on the sea wall with approximately 1 km on a private road surface. For this inaugural event we have limited the participation to 250 runners and excluded runners with dogs.
