It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Russell Williams on Saturday after a short illness. Russell was a longstanding and respected member of the Harriers, a stalwart of our cross country and relay teams and one who always willing to give of his time in helping out at club events and at the local park run.
Over 600 runners competed in the 14th staging of the Baileys Nissan Whitstable 10K road race organised by Canterbury Harriers on Monday May Bank Holiday morning. In sunny and warm conditions, with only light winds along the Tankerton and Hampton promenade sections, 29 athletes dipped under 40 minutes.
A big well done to the Harriers who took part in this year`s London Marathon. Huge crowds and a fantastic atmosphere on what turned out to be one of the warmest days of the year so far!

Canterbury Harriers are the new Kent Fitness League cross country champions following the final race of the seven race series hosted by the club at Blean Woods , Rough Common on Sunday. The club were comfortable winners of the mens, ladies and combined team events.
